I inked this today while I was donating platelets. It's a surprisingly good place to do artwork as long as I remember to pay attention to the aphresis machine from time to time.

Patricia Briggs BOUGHT my 'Coyote Garage' pic at Necro!!! I'd given instructions that if she liked it, that she should be given it but Ms. Briggs INSISTED on buying it.

Sort of makes up for it being the ONLY sale I made at Necro, really.

I just got back from seeing the King Tut exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art. We lucked into a family ticket package so we got a little bit of a price break. The exhibit was good but didn't include the funeral mask that been on all the advertising. I did a little sketching in the galleries but between the people and tight rooms, I didn't do much. I tried something new today -- while my car was being worked on, I walked over to the Borders down the block and set up my art supplies in the coffee shop. It certainly beats sitting in the customer area at the car dealers with all the banging noises and exhaust fumes.
